ENERGY ANALYSIS

Myss

Mark’s depression was the first and most obvious energy block in his system. Depression always reduces both the flow of energy through the body and the quality of the energy that actually enters the body.

Mark had literally given up the desire to live, even before the car accident involving the man who was found dead of a heart attack at the wheel of his car. This incident merely provided Mark with a legitimate and obvious crisis upon which to focus, since the deeper issue was much more difficult to handle.

Mark’s energy revealed that he saw himself as someone who was no longer useful. He could not cope with the aging process and the loss of his virility and physical strength. He had a very gentle nature, yet underneath that he prided himself on physical strength and capability.

I saw the probability that cancer would develop in his second chakra region because his energy was particularly blocked in that area. This indicated to me that his sense of external power and authority was being threatened, and that he lacked the ability to enter into the next phase of his life. He feared dependency, and growing older represented to him the ultimate condition of uselessness.

The accident that so consumed his attention represented deeper issues still in that Mark could not forgive himself for not becoming all he had wanted to become in his life. His inability to forgive himself existed long before this particular incident. Yet in encountering this situation, he had created an experience through which to deal with his negative attitude toward himself. Mark was, unfortunately, unable to challenge the grip his depression had over his consciousness, in spite of the loving support of his family.
